MY NAME IS JULIA ROSS

1945.....65 minutes

Nina Foch, Dame May Whitty, George Macready, Roland Varno Directed By Joseph H. Lewis

Julia Ross (Nina Foch) secures employment, through a new employment agency, with a wealthy widow, Mrs. Hughes (Dame May Whitty), and goes to live at her house. Two days later, she awakens in a different house in different clothes and with a new identity. She is told she is the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Hughes and has suffered a nervous breakdown. If you like films like "My Cousin Rachel." you are in for a real treat. Suberb photography and story makes this B film almost like a big studio A picture. This is a dandy film noir mystery.
